MICHAEL T. PRICE
A shareholder with the firm, Mr. Price has experience in complex commercial litigation, employment litigation and intellectual property matters. Consequently, Mr. Price has represented privately owned businesses and individuals in matters before Michigan trial courts, the Michigan Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan.
Prior to obtaining a position with Hyman Lippitt, P.C., Mr. Price served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court from 1998 until 1999. Before accepting his clerkship, Mr. Price had previously served as a Pre-Hearing Attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals throughout 1998.
In 1997, Mr. Price earned his J.D., cum laude , from Wayne State University Law School. While a student of Wayne State University Law School, Mr. Price served as an Assistant Editor and Senior Note and Comment Editor of the Wayne Law Review, authoring a Note titled "When Phone Booths Are Inadequate Protection: Copyright and Trademark Infringement of Superheroes", 43 Wayne L.Rev. 321 (1996). In addition, Mr. Price received a Lederle Scholarship, Max Smitt Scholarship and an election to the Order of the Coif. In 1993, Mr. Price received his B.A., with high honors, in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University. While a student of Michigan State University, Mr. Price was elected Phi Kappa Phi.
